2nd Chance uses a simple learning model that is driven by stepped improvements in self-management, self-reliance and readiness to work

A pilot project of the 2nd Chance model will be running in Southwark from January 2013. With the support of local schools and organisations, 50 young people will attend 2nd Chance Southwark for 12 months.
2nd Chance is a charity working for young people who are not in education, employment or training (NEET). By providing them with a structured learning, training and working environment, 2nd Chance offers these young men and women secure and supported routes into employment.
The 2nd Chance model offers young people core skills training in English, mathematics and IT, with employability and enterprise skills alongside work experience. This programme of learning and training is complemented by a personalised system of emotional and learning support.
